Or get some potted flowers and keep them around for years and years. You can give flowers on birthdays, on holidays, on independence day, on new years day, on Thursdays, on Tuesdays, when visiting your mom, your sister, even your husband or brother would be surprised and while not outwardly happy will feel special to receive a pretty bouquet.
